Shows
Since I have a full time job during the day (other than woodworking) and a typical "to do" list of things pending for Celeste (her jewelry box is only 5 years late), I currently only have time to prepare for 2-3 shows each year. The two listed below are the main ones that I do, and then I usually do a home show in December. The fall show in Blacksburg is a typical arts and crafts show (a very nice one) where I show the gamut of my products (except for larger spinning and weaving equipment). I concentrate production of pieces for this show during the summer and fall. Then in May, I do the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival. I concentrate production after Christmas on accessories and equipment for this group of fiber fanatics and take whatever normal things I have left over from the fall shows.
